Negligence by Afraz Jabeen - Pakistan

Dear Bestie,

Apologies.  Usually letters are initiated with greetings but dear best friend I want to first clear the reasons of my absence. Before saying "you and your excuses", just give me one chance to defend myself and after that you will be allowed to label me with any charge. By the way what about cat obsession? Do you still have dozens of cat posters in your room? Due to the permission issues, I suggested you to paste cat posters in your room. In this way, without cats you can live with your dream pet. Dear best friend, at this stage of my life I have realized the real meaning of Newton's third law that every action has a reaction. These days I miss those times when College canteen was more important than physics class.  It seems my taste buds are damaged now. Yes, Dear Azka, like always you guessed it. I am also suffering from coronavirus. I am not the only one who is suffering from this infectious disease. Azka, Can I hug you so that I can confess calmly in your arms? Oh No, I can’t, I can’t. I know a hug from the right person is a pain killer. How can I put you in pain just for the sake of my solace? That is why, I am writing this letter because silence is the option for cowards. I will prefer to die as a sinner rather than a coward.  I know you will say "you and your concepts of chivalry". This time the pen is in the hands of a criminal. Those days when we all were busy in our lives, your friend committed a crime.
